Fireflies
2009
Fireflies is an art piece created with Processing. Artificial life-forms respond to the environment outside of the screen, as well as to computer inputs provided by the user.
The blue fireflies are drawn to objects and people in the video provided by the webcam. The yellow fireflies wander around and respond to sound as well as mouse clicks.
Pressing the Enter key creates more fireflies(up to 10, anything more than that increases the chances that the applet will stall).
